Day 1:

Welcome to the Italian Alps

Your Dolomite walking adventure begins upon arrival at Verona Airport, where you’ll be met by our local representative and transferred into the heart of the Italian Alps. We wind through picturesque mountain valleys and high passes to arrive at Madonna di Campiglio, a world-famous alpine village set in a high valley surrounded by the towering Brenta Dolomites. Take the evening to stroll through the charming village streets, soak in the mountain atmosphere, and enjoy your first dinner together.

  • Distance & Duration: Transfer day (~2.5 hrs drive)

  • Highlights: Scenic mountain pass transfer, settling into your alpine hotel in Madonna di Campiglio.

Day 2:

Val di Genova & The Waterfall Trail

We begin our hiking week in the dramatic Val di Genova, historically known as “The Valley of Waterfalls.” Following the rushing Sarca River along shaded forest paths, we take in the cool spray, lush moss-covered granite walls, and backdrop of distant glaciers. The highlight of the walk is the thundering Cascate di Nardis, one of the highest cascades in the region. We end our trek at Ponte Maria before taking a short shuttle back to Madonna di Campiglio.

  • Distance & Duration: ~8 km | ~3 hours walking (+300m / -200m incline)

  • Highlights: Cascate di Nardis, Val di Genova, Sarca River cascades.

Day 3:

Lake Pradalago & Alpine Meadows

After breakfast, we take the Pradalago cable car high into the mountains to start our trek above the tree line. Pathways lead past Lake Pradalago and Rifugio Viviani, with the jagged peak of Cima Zeledria rising overhead. We wind through alpine meadows, pine, and larch forests down to Lake Malghette—a tranquil mountain tarn reflecting the Brenta peaks. Enjoy a break at the lakeside rifugio before descending via Malga Zeledria back toward town.

  • Distance & Duration: ~9.5 km | ~3.5 hours walking (+50m / -550m incline)

  • Highlights: Pradalago Cable Car, Rifugio Viviani, Lake Malghette, Cima Zeledria views.

Day 4:

Vallesinella & The High Waterfalls

Today we explore Vallesinella, one of the most photogenic valleys in the Dolomites. We follow woodland trails alongside rushing streams up to the impressive High Waterfalls (Cascate Alte). Emerging into high mountain pastures, we take time to enjoy expansive views across the valley floor before making a gentle forest descent back down to catch our shuttle return to Madonna di Campiglio.

  • Distance & Duration: ~8 km | ~3.5 hours walking (+300m / -290m incline)

  • Highlights: Cascate Alte (High Waterfalls), Vallesinella forest trails, panoramic mountain pastures.

DAy 5:

Free Day in Madonna di Campiglio

A well-deserved rest day to spend entirely as you please! Relax over a coffee on a sunny outdoor piazza, treat yourself to a spa treatment, or take one of the local cable cars up to high mountain lookouts for lunch with a view.

The Three Lakes Walk

One of the week’s undisputed highlights! We ride the Cinque Laghi cable car into the high country for sweeping vistas of the Brenta massif. Following mountain path no. 232, we visit three stunning alpine lakes: Lake Ritorto, Lake Lambin, and Lake Nambino. After resting by the shores of Lake Nambino nestled in the alpine pine forest, we make our final gentle descent back down to Madonna di Campiglio.

We finish at Malga Cioca for a panoramic terrace drink before riding the gondola down to Pinzolo for our transfer back to the hotel.
